Lead Not Appearing in My CRM

Last updated on Dec 06, 2025

If introductions aren't syncing to your CRM via Zapier, here's how to troubleshoot.

Check Your Zapier Connection

Is Your Zap Turned On?

  1. Log in to Zapier

  2. Find your LeadHQL Zap

  3. Verify it shows as "On" (not paused or off)

Is the Zap Working?

  1. Go to your Zap's task history

  2. Look for recent runs

  3. Check for any error messages

Common Issues

Zap is Off or Paused

Zaps can be accidentally turned off or may pause after errors.

Solution: Turn the Zap back on in Zapier.

Connection Expired

Your LeadHQL or CRM connection may have expired.

Solution:

  1. Go to your Zap

  2. Check the LeadHQL connection - reconnect if needed

  3. Check your CRM connection - reconnect if needed

Zapier Account Issues

Free Zapier accounts have limits that may pause Zaps.

Solution: Check your Zapier account status and upgrade if needed.

Field Mapping Errors

If required CRM fields aren't mapped, the Zap may fail.

Solution: Edit your Zap and verify all required fields are mapped correctly.

Testing Your Zap

  1. Open your Zap in Zapier

  2. Click "Test" on each step

  3. Verify data flows correctly

  4. Fix any errors shown

Check LeadHQL Side

Verify the introduction exists in LeadHQL:

  1. Go to My Leads at https://leadhql.com/dashboard/lead

  2. Find the introduction

  3. Confirm it shows a successful status

If the introduction isn't in LeadHQL, the issue isn't with Zapier.

Still Not Working?

If you've checked everything above:

  1. Note the specific introduction that didn't sync

  2. Check Zapier's task history for error details

  3. Contact support with this information

Manual Workaround

While troubleshooting, you can:

  • Manually add introductions to your CRM

  • Export CSVs from LeadHQL and import to your CRM
