Payment Failed - What to Do

Last updated on Dec 06, 2025

If a payment fails, here's how to resolve it and get back on track.

Why Payments Fail

Common reasons:

  • Insufficient funds - Card doesn't have enough available credit

  • Card expired - The card's expiration date has passed

  • Bank declined - Your bank blocked the transaction

  • Incorrect details - Card information was entered wrong

  • Card limits - Transaction exceeds card limits

Immediate Steps

1. Check the Error Message

Note any specific error message shown. This often indicates the cause.

2. Verify Card Details

  1. Go to Billing at https://leadhql.com/dashboard/payment

  2. Check your payment method

  3. Verify the card hasn't expired

  4. Confirm the billing address matches your bank's records

3. Try the Payment Again

Sometimes temporary issues resolve themselves:

  1. Wait a few minutes

  2. Try the payment again

  3. Ensure you have sufficient funds

If Payment Keeps Failing

Try a Different Card

  1. Add a new payment method

  2. Make the payment with the new card

  3. You can remove the problematic card later

Contact Your Bank

Your bank may have:

  • Flagged the transaction as suspicious

  • Set limits that block the payment

  • Temporary holds on your account

Call your bank to:

  • Verify no blocks on your card

  • Authorize the transaction

  • Increase limits if needed

Impact of Failed Payments

If payments fail and your balance runs low:

  • You may stop receiving new introductions

  • Subscriptions may pause

  • Auto-reload won't work

Resolve payment issues quickly to avoid interruption.

After Resolving

Once payment works:

  1. Add sufficient funds to your balance

  2. Verify subscriptions are active

  3. Check that introductions are flowing again
